What are consultation packages?
Consultation packages are geared towards students who desire unlimited guidance from start to finish in preparing for and applying to college.
There are several different packages to choose from, depending on the grade of the student, and if a specialty will be added, ie athlete or performing arts.
Once a contract has been signed acknowledging the expectations of both parties, and services are paid for, we can focus on the student’s educational goals and begin consultation sessions.
Depending on the type of package, there will be weekly, monthly, or quarterly sessions, including email and/or text correspondence throughout the entirety of the contracted time.
Who is this for?
9th-12th grade students who are interested in preparing and applying for college.
We offer specialty packages geared towards STEM, Performing Arts, and Student Athletes.
9th-10th Grade Consulting
Research has indicated that the 9th grade year is a strong predictor of students graduating high school, getting into college and continuing past their freshman year of college
11th-12th Grade Consulting
A survey has indicated that fewer than 45% of juniors and seniors feel prepared for college and career
Senior Year Consulting
The national average student to counselor ratio is 482 -1, with this ratio seniors are not getting the type of personalize guidance needed in applying for college
STEM Consulting
Only 35% of women graduate from STEM majors, a number that hasn’t changed in over a decade, yet currently 60% of college graduates are women.
Performing Arts Consulting

Student Athletes Consulting
Student athletes need to be aware that there are required NCAA core courses that need to be completed in high school as well as a minimum GPA in order to be admitted to college and be eligible to play on a collegiate team
What Parents Need to Know
- Founder Rachel Fretz-Cianci has a strong background in college academic advising. Therefore, Aspírian has a strong focus on preparing students to not only get into the best fit college, but also to be academically successful.
- Meetings will be held online, so there is no necessity to drive your child to consulting sessions. Sessions will be recorded and can be reviewed at any time by the student and parent.
- Sessions will only be with the student unless the parent is invited to join, usually for the financial aid and final college decision sessions. This is meant for the student to be inspired to become independent and confident in his or her college decisions.
