Step By Step
There is a lot to accomplish between September and May. We will guide you through the admissions process to lead you to finding the “best fit” college for you.
Admission Criteria
Although test scores are important, they are only one component of the admissions criteria. We will aid you in developing a comprehensive application that will showcase your personality and strong suits on paper.
Assessment
We will conduct a personality and skill assessment test that will give you confidence in determining your choice of college major and career field.
Roadmap
We will have a specific roadmap developed for you that will aid in keeping you organized and prepared for all deadlines that occur during your senior year.
The Proof
According to a recent survey, only 56 percent of students believe they understand the steps needed to apply for college, and an overwhelmingly low 46 percent of students feel confident in the major they have chosen that matches their interests and abilities.
College Board has indicated that despite the many types of evaluation systems colleges may have, it’s important that students showcase their skills, experiences, and personality traits in the college application.
Based on the Independent Educational Consultant Association, educational consultants not only focus on getting students accepted into colleges, they also strive to have students achieve success throughout college. This is done by getting to know the students’ interests and skills while guiding them to choose the best colleges for them.
An article in the US News and World Report states that students who develop their organizational and time management skills in high school are able to present themselves effectively on college applications and are more equipped to handle the challenges that they may face in college.
